Mohsen Kalliny, M.D is the medical director and founder of Interventional Pain Medicine, LLC. He is board certified in anesthesiology and is double board certified in pain management. He completed his residency and fellowship at Brookdale University Hospital located in New York. Dr. Kalliny established Interventional Pain Medicine, LLC with the goal of providing quality personalized healthcare. The doctor believes strongly in applying the “interventional” approach to healthcare, meaning that whenever possible the latest techniques and technologies are applied to a range of health conditions. Dr. Kalliny has extensive experience in the Pain management field but firmly believes in always investing in the most up to date knowledge available.
Dr. Kalliny performs a wide range of pain management and minimally invasive procedures for the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Being a highly skilled pain management physician, he performs diagnostic procedures such as discograms and nerve blocks. He also performs procedures including trial and implantation of permanent spinal cord stimulators, intrathecal pumps and endoscopic fusions.
Dr. Kalliny takes great pride in accomplishing these procedures using strategies that provide the highest level of analytical, diagnostic and treatment practice modalities. He advances his education by attending courses that allow him to do so. He is also dedicated to the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Society of Anesthesiology. He continues to meet requirements to maintain his active membership in both societies.
